Editorial policy and source checks
See how guides separate documented procedures, editorial policy, preparation advice and information that needs provider confirmation.
A useful guide should tell you what to do, where to do it and what remains uncertain. We use official service pages for published procedures and clearly label general preparation advice.
Source priorities
For telecom rules and consumer services, start with PTA. For an operator transaction, use the operator’s current instructions. For identity-document services, use NADRA. Legal statements require current official texts rather than a competitor’s summary.
No invented authority
We do not invent qualifications, customer stories, case outcomes, review scores or official approval badges. This publication does not claim direct access to subscriber records. Hypothetical examples are labelled as examples.
Dates and changing information
A date on a guide records an editorial review, not continuous monitoring. Prices, eligibility and support details can change. Where a requirement could not be confirmed, the guide asks the reader to verify it with the responsible provider.
Corrections
Send a page link, the statement in question and a public source through contact. Do not attach CNIC scans or private account messages. Material corrections should be explained in the page’s review note.
Commercial content and editorial policy
Advertising or affiliate links, if introduced, must be identified and reflected in the site’s privacy disclosures. Payment must not be presented as evidence that a SIM lookup service is authorized.
