Corporate SIM registration and staff handovers
Keep business connections accountable with an operator-approved SIM registration process, a SIM register and clear staff handover steps.
On this page
Business connections need clear ownership and access records. Ask the operator’s business team about the current registration documents and authorised signatory process. Do not assume an NTN alone completes registration.
Keep an internal register
Record the number, assigned employee, business purpose, billing owner and issue date. Limit access to identity documents and store only what the business needs. Track lost SIMs and replacements separately.
When an employee leaves
Recover company equipment, update account recovery methods, remove app access and record who receives the connection next. Ask the operator whether a subscriber-record update or another formal action is required.
For a lost or misused line
Have a named person authorised to request a block. Preserve relevant business records and operator references. Avoid sharing staff identity details in public complaint threads.
Review regularly
Compare billed connections with your register. Close unused lines through the approved process and confirm that linked business accounts remain accessible.
